Clonmellon, North Westmeath

Clonmellon is a small village located in County Westmeath in the province of Leinster.  The Irish translation is Raistin.

 The village is situated on the N52 road between Kells in County Meath and Delvin in County Westmeath. Clonmellon is just one hour from Dublin and is home to approximately 1,600 people.  

There are many local attractions in and around this beautiful historic village - reportedly once home Sir Walter Raleigh who planted Ireland's first potatoes at Killua Castle.
