Fore Valley tiny and peaceful, was once the hustling bustling hub of a substantial early Christian Monastic Community. Through time, it evolved first into a walled town with a handsome Norman Abbey at its heart and the tower that contained an anchorite. It is a valley through which flows hundreds of stories including the water that will not boil and the wood that does not burn. The Water that flows uphill and the Mill without a Race.
